This remarkable Arts and Crafts lavaliere necklace features six lovely golden Citrines graduating in size down to a fabulous pendant adorned with a large square stone.
The Arts and Crafts movement advocated a revival of traditional handicrafts in the late 19th century and used romantic, folk decoration with an influx of colour and sparkle to counteract the rather mechanised industrialisation of modern design.
Citrines sparkle with a crisp radiant beauty that reflects the warm glow of the sun. The stone was a favourite of Queen Victoria who decorated Citrines in her Summer residence.
The piece is modelled in Silver and features beautiful Silver links between each stone with pretty engraved roses blossoming out. It is certainly one of a kind and looks stunning around the neck.
