This fabulous Sterling Silver necklace is genuine Arts and Crafts, Circa 1900.

The Arts and Crafts Movement began in Britain around 1880 and quickly spread to America, Europe and Japan.

Inspired by the ideas of John Ruskin and William Morris, it advocated a revival of traditional handicrafts, a return to a simpler way of life and an improvement in the design of ordinary domestic objects.

The pendant is set with smooth Blister Pearls and two Cabochon Citrine’s with intricate foliate workmanship in-between.

Citrine’s sparkle and have a crisp, radiant quality about them.

The name Citrine is derived from the colour - the yellow of lemon, it is also known as "Gold Topaz" and is the birthstone for November.

Blister Pearls have a flat surface on one side with a rich creamy tone, they are lovely lustrous and natural.

18ct Gold flowers adorn this lavaliere, all set in Sterling Silver.

Purchased in London and steeped in English history.

Looks fabulous when worn, a real talking piece.
