A beautiful bracelet from Nepal or Tibet from the 1970s or 80s. Here the blue resin is carved to depict lions and jackals among vegetation. The top and bottom are overlaid with silver sheeting that has been worked in repousse and depicts fish . There is further decoration both on the top and bottom: cabochons of turquoise and coral in smooth bezels. This beautiful bracelet was produced with primitive tools. It could be worn alone or stacked with silver bracelets to great effect.
